The first step for any wind turbine installation is to obtain an estimate of the average wind speed for the proposed site and to consider the overall feasibility of the project. Because of the variability in the wind from place to place we insist on carrying out a feasibility study. This includes; desk based research, visit to the proposed site and preparation of a report together with our quotation and recommendations for wind turbine size, positioning, tower height, cable sizing, grid connection etc. We typically charge £250 inc. VAT (within 150 miles of our base) to undertake such a study. The amount is refunded on receipt of any subsequent order.
